For the rest of the week the only think that Jenny could think about was Friday. The days seemed to drag and it seemed to her that Friday would never come around. When it finally did, Jenny woke up to the sound of her alarm at 5am. There was no chance of her rolling over and snoozing, she leapt out of bed and made straight for the shower as if she had been awake for a long time. She had some breakfast and was in her car by 5:30 and she was the first one at the stables again.
At around 6:30 Jenny heard footsteps approaching her and she turned hoping to see Steve. She was surprised to see that it was Maria coming towards her. “Good morning Maria, it’s a bit early for you isn’t it?” Maria smiled at her “I wondered if I could talk to you, about Steve.” Jenny was shocked to hear Maria being so blunt and the surprise must have shown on her face.
