I just moved to Tulsa in the winter of 83, on my own for the first time in a different town I grew up in, away from the parents and feeling free. As the months went on, I adapted to my job and surroundings and had developed an organized, time-managed day. I called on many different types of restaurants and made friends very quickly especially the ladies.
In my job, I wore some of the best of the best in men’s dress clothes, very GQ if you must. This drew the attention of many women and many of them were very forward, but I never hit on or went out with an employee of an account that I sold. I did though have many waitress and lady managers of my accounts take care of me and look out after me a suitable woman to date. They were always trying to set me up with friends and relatives.
