Saturday morning dawned bright and beautiful. The sun streamed through the windows, and I hesitated before getting out of bed. Maam lay beside me, and I took the opportunity to gaze at her as she slept. Truly a beautiful Lady, inside and out, I count her as one of the many blessings in my life!
Saturday mornings, Maam allows me some freedom to do as I please. this morning, it pleases me to treat Maam to breakfast in bed. Slipping quietly from bed, I shower and shave and make my way to the kitchen. Sausage and eggs, with toast and coffee should be a pleasant surprise for Maam. I took the opportunity to pick up some gourmet coffee earlier this week, and I hope Maam likes it.
Carrying the tray carefully into the bedroom, I set it on the dresser and wake Maam by kissing her gently on the cheek. I watch with pleasure as she opens her eyes, and stretches.
